Our eyes are the most complex and important organ of the body after the brain, showing us all the beauties of the world among our 5 sense organs, connecting us to life, to which we owe 85% of our ability to learn and perceive. From birth to death, there are many diseases that can threaten our eyes due to age, genetics, systemic diseases and external factors. Having our eyes examined regularly and comprehensively is extremely important for us to lead a healthy and happy life. Early diagnosis of all eye diseases is the first condition for success in treatment. Accurate diagnosis is possible with a full comprehensive examination with high technologies. Even if there is no complaint about the eye, experts recommend eye examinations at the ages of 6 months, 1, 3 and 5 years for children and at least once a year for adults for early detection of possible risks.
Our eye polyclinic is open from 09-17:00 on weekdays and 09-13:00 on Saturdays. Patient-oriented service is provided to every patient who comes to our outpatient clinic with a friendly and quality service approach.
Eye surgeries such as strabismus surgery, tear duct obstruction surgery, pterygium surgery, eyelid tumors, chalazion are performed in our operating room.
How often should children be examined?
* Every baby, whether or not there is a risk factor, should undergo an eye examination within the first 6 months after birth, at the ages of 1, 3 and 5.
* It should be re-evaluated at the age of 5-7.
You should have your children’s eye examinations regularly for a bright future. It is recommended that healthy individuals should have an eye examination once a year. Those who have a systemic disease affecting the eye (diabetes, goiter, hypertension, rheumatic diseases, etc.) are recommended to be examined more frequently.
